Has any one had trouble with there door locks. I have a 2002 ZO6, with 16k miles on it, and the door locks are starting to fail. My driver door lock, only locks sometimes, any one else have troubles? Can't believe it be going bad, the car only three years old. Bought the car used in March of this year.
If your door locks are only inopperative when you use your key fob, then replace the battery in the key fob...otherwise it may be your door lock accuators, in the doors. If you give a bit more detail to your problem ,it will be easier to narrow down.Probably, nothing serious.(do they work manually?).Do they lock with the key?I don't have any problems with my 2004...yet!

Replaced door module and lock actuator under warranty that fixed mine., I have heard that reseating the plug on the door module has fixed some with that problem also faulty ground on ckts 294 can cause it.

My passenger door is messed up, It will lock with the drivers button or the key fob, but won't unlock most times.
I need to take the door apart, ckt 294 you say.......

Sometimes when I use the remote to arm and lock the doors my driver side door does not lock. I hear the lock operate and the alarm arms but the door remains unlocked.
I have the same issue with my driver side door, it won't unlock most of the time and I have to use the key. Dealer said because of my car is before certain build date they have to replace actuators on both sides otherwise it won't work. They are also replacing my passenger side window regulator because the window won't roll down anymore. They also just replace the seals on my diff.

This is what mine does as well. I've gotten in the habit of looking at the lock to make sure it has flipped. I have been told that the FOB battery could need replacing or the battery contacts in the fob need to be cleaned. It's funny that the alarm sets but the but the door remains unlocked if it is a fob issue.
Hey quick silver, I think the passenger side does that on all vettes. I have to hit mine twice to get the passenger door to unlock. Its been that way since I got it. If I hit it once it opens the driver door. Hit it again and it opens the passenger door. Did you check the manual and see if there's anything in there about it?

The Locks do work manually. When inside the car, pushing the lock button on the door panel, sometimes the driver door locks, but lately, it hasn't been locking, passenger door works fine. It probably needs to be replaced, can't they make stuff that last anymore?
