Should I pull the trigger on this?

I just got off the phone with a guy from Acworth, Georgia, and he has a 99 FRC Black/Black, 40k miles, with Borlas, Z06 wheels, new tires, Halltech air bridge and intake, and all the stock parts for $21,000. The only catch is that the car was in a mild accident where the left rear quarter panel was replaced.
He said he was willing to have the car looked at if I wanted to, etc. etc. Courteous guy.. seems like a pretty good deal.EDIT: Just got the Carfax.. the guy was truthful about the accident, but the report indicated "extensive damage." This was about 15 months ago.. if the car was repaired well, and the frame is straight, and the title isn't salvaged/totalled, then it should be OK, right?

KBB is a joke, most guys that will tell you to use it would get mad if someone walked up and wanted to buy their car based off KBB pricing. And if you do find someone willing to sell their car for the KBB price most likely it needs work and it is not going to be the mint car most are looking for.
My wife has been in Insurance claims with a major company for over 25 years. They don't use KBB for getting car value. They use NADA and check the sales in the local area to get an idea of the car value based off NADA and real market.
I would do the same and go from there. Best of Luck with your search
