Default Moroso drag racing rules

I have a stock 2002 Vert, and want to run it @ Moroso a couple times for fun. However I was reading their rules, and any convertible that runs faster than 13.99, requires a roll cage. Is this the norm? I want to run the car, but have no interest in a roll cage.

assuming this is for Test & Tune.

wear a helmet they wont bother you .. start breaking 11s and then they'll tell you you need a helmet.

but actually there was a rule passed not too long ago that delt with this as the old rule pretained to previous years where the cars weren't as safe as the ones today. So it's to my knowledge if the car appears stock you dont need the rollcage just a helmet.

and if they do say you need one just get some PCV pipe and come it with black foam and set it in the car or go to another strip that doesnt care.

You have come to the right place. We run the CORVETTE CHALLENGE every month at Moroso. We are racing this Saturday Night. You can bring your car and run as quick as 11.50 during our events with no problem at all. Gates open Saturday at 4:30 hope to see you there.

Thanks, I might come up Saturday, if the wife doesn't already have me obligated.

Do I need a helmet? How about long pants (In 95* heat) like they say?

No danger of being anywhere near 11's. ... Yet

Helmet, long pants, closed toe shoes, no tank tops. You can rent a helmet at the track if you need to. Come out and bring the wife, we have a few of the ladies racing with their husbands. My anniversary (23 years) is Saturday and my wife will be there as well.
