I have a set of unused stock fuel rail covers and was wondering if any of you have done with your unused covers. i was thinking of doing something with them, but what that is I dont know. Besides throw out, (or hang up), your covers, what have you done with them?
Forum member ChevyChad does them look him up prices are different based on what you want--I think he is very fair on price--I am waiting for my 97-98 left side cover to come in and I am sending my set to him for a custom job. There are some pictures posted on the forum or have him send you some.
I would hope you wouldn't throw them out!! Several of out club members have bought stainless or whatever covers, and painted the stock ones. If you want to sell them cheap, let me know, otherwise I'm sure someone can do a great paint job on them.
had mine painted professionally and ordered graphisc for the Corvette and stripes in brushed alluminum, im probably putting the graphics on this weekend.
I don't like alot of the flashy painted FRC's so I just hand painted the 5.7 and the stripes with Rustoleum Sunrise Red, like my calipers, then drilled and mounted some stainless little torx button head screws down the center of the covers just to break up the black plastic look alittle bit. I like things subtle and sanitary.
I have seen several stock fuel rail covers with autographs of Dave Hill, Will Cooksey, and Mike Yager on them. Who are these guys anyway?
Just an idea,
Bob

From: Biloxi MS Theres something happenin' here, What it is ain't exactly clear.....
anyone pick up one of those Be-dazlers ? (as seen on TV)
hahaha - get a nice row of 1 ct diamonds across each FRC!
seriously though, Another affordable under the hood bling piece:
The chrome sink hole stoppers (find them at Home Depot) are a good replacement for the black discs that hold your hood liner in place. (the holes left in your sink where the sprayer goes - its the cap that fits in that space)
