Some of you may have read my recent posts about installing new Kumho's and alignment questions. I thought I would post the final results. The alignment ($54.95 at Chevy dealer in Eau Claire WI) improved the fantastic Kumho's. Both the front and rear settings were off. I went with a conservative alignment to ensure straight line tracking. The Vette drives beautifully now. The front is straight and true with no "hunting" on rutted or grooved pavement. There is increased return to center after a turn, but at the expense of aggressive cornering. It is a nice set up for my type of driving. I ran some higher speeds on concrete today. The Kumho's whistle like any tire on textured concrete, but there is no monster truck howl like the "runcraps". On blacktop they are virtually silent. IMHO getting rid of the Goodyear runflats is the best thing one can do to improve a Corvette. Many thanks to the forum members who helped out.
Thanks for the report. I hate the sound from these runcraps. I have 23,000 on mine, but they still have plenty of tread left on them. But when its time, I will do what you did. I've heard lots of good news on them.

$54.95 is a very good price for what is considered in the industry a "difficult" level alignment, glad it worked out for you!
Congratulations. Great choice in tires. Glad that you perceive improvements in handling and rideability. Now, go own out for a nice cruise. Be safe and enjoy.
I agree gettin rid of the GoodYear EMT's is a wise choice, if you're
comfortable without the security of RF's. I'm on the GY GS-D3 tire
since early 03' and love em.
It's odd though as I've been through 2-sets of RF's and now the D3's
but I've yet to have an alignment...95k miles too.
I also ditched the runflats and purchased a set of Kumho's GREAT TIRE /GREAT PRICE. I choose the MX over the 712(I didn't want big center channel water design) or whatever model it is. $699- all 4 to my door.
