ok i've been searching for thel ast cupple days for fixed headlights for the c5 i'm looking for a c5r style, something that works well with HIDs. the best thing i've found are Spectrewerkes and i can't find anyone or anywhere that sells them. anyone help?
thanks in advance guys
Or, West Coast Corvettes sells them but they are just the 'middle man', they get them from Specter Werkes. Might as well cut them out because its about 99.9% sure that they dont even have them in stock.
i got mine from spectorwerks. had to wait 2 months. got the hid stage 2. they are awesome.
people aabsaloootly GAWK at them day or night
they have an awesome purple glow from an angle
def get the stage 2
Just FYI....you can not get the HID's through Specter Werkes anymore. You will have to buy the C5R assemblies from them and then buy an HID kit from another vendor.
If you buy the HID kit and ship it to Specter Werkes they will modify the bucket to hold the larger HID projectors.

I have owned the BPP and the Spectre Works...neither are all that great. The BPP has an awesome mounting system but cheese ball lights and totally garbage covers and buckets. The Specter Works have better lights, buckets, and so so on the covers but the mount is junk. I have gone back to stock and will stay that way till someone makes a product that is truely worthy of going on the car.
.......as long as you dont mind buying a few other things while you are at it.
C60 Headlights: $1,995
C60 Hood: $1,795
C60 Front Fenders: $1,210
C60 Door Skins: $995
C60 Front Fascia: ?????
Those lights arent just a bolt on item. They are part of a complete body kit.
I agree about the cost of them, but they look Great! If you look closely, the pictured car has a MCM hood, and a stock fascia, stock fenders. The cost with those would be paying a good body shop to install/customize the fitment.
You could make something that looks better using a couple of old milk jugs, some spackling and a few flashlights.
Joe, I have all the parts listed to make this kit. Could you please email or PM me the assembly instructions? I should be able to have it finished this weekend. Does in matter what % the milk in the jugs was? Is skim better than 2%? Also, the flashlights aren't exactly the same size. Will that make a difference? I plan to reinforce the spackle with zip ties and velcro, so they should be able to take alot of abuse. Please shoot me any other tips you may have.

I think you could use a little model glue as well.
Not that it does any good in the assembly of the headlight fixtures, but it sure is fun to sniff.

These are the C60's. The ones posted don't have any DRL's integrated into the design. The ones posted earlier look a lot cooler than the C60's IMHO. You can also buy the C60's by themselves if you like them for 1995.00. You will only have to cut your front bumper with a template that they provide. Everything else fits right in supposedly.
