Dumb question...sorry, I'm a newbie to the forum and the vette sceen, just bought a 2003 ZO6
Just checked my codes and a few popped up. I have the code identification page but unsure what these actually mean?
Codes: A0-LDCM - Left Door Control Module, A1-RDCM - Right Door Control Module
B2282 Battery #1 Fault
B2284 Battery #2 Fault
U1064 Loss of Communications with BCM
U1096 Loss of Communications with IPC
What...the car was shut off with the doors open?
It means your battery is crapping out. The other codes u1064, u1096 is normal when the battery is getting weak or if it is disconnected. Install a new battery and clear the codes and it should be fine.
The door modules in these cars are generally more sensitive to voltage fluctuation due to the physical location in the doors (longer wire runs = more voltage drop) and are usually the first to act up when the battery gets weak. I would have the battery tested and check and/or clean your posts and cables and make sure they are tight.
