There are many nice flamed cars here on the Corvette Forum, but then there are two that REALLY stand out.....

Z06-JIM and Iceburg (Hey his name is Jim, too...... )

Maybe both will post in this thread!

Here is Mike Bruce, or forum member DTSNGIT flames. This pic was took at the Corvettes and Chevy's in the piedmont car show last weekend. This is one of the best flame jobs I have seen.

Here's my vinyl stripes / flames. I want ghost flames, but haven't figured out exactly how I want them & who I will trust to paint them. These will pull off when I'm ready for the real deal.

Iceburgh's car is mighty impressive in person, the paintwork is flawless and perfect.

Might not be to everyone's personal style, but it is loud, aggressive, turns heads and draws attention everywhere it goes...and as a sponsored show car, exactly the reason it was painted that way.

The true-fire flame style is incredible no doubt, but Iceburgh, GB, RWH, Busted Knuckle, Vinny G, and the many others with the traditional style flames are great examples that the "old school" hotrodder flame style isn't dead just yet.

ALL the custom paint jobs that have been pictured here are very Anyone who has done any cutom paintwiok knows well enough to appreciate the work that has gone into them, regardless of personal style.
