Son of a Bee, Scratch! Well, someone has sure spent some mega time in polishing. Great Job! How did you do it, and, still have time for driving it? Enjoy.
I actually use to do metal polishing, so I have an assortment of tools that makes polishing alot less labor intensive. It's still work though
I use 3M surface conditioning discs to sand it down, work the tight areas or corners with sandpaper, then begin using a high speed buffer and brown tripoli and green rouge to bring out the gloss, plus some chrome here and there...still a work in progress I maintain it by wiping off and the occasional Mothers Alum. Polish
As for being ****...my motor is somewhat polished, the bellhousing and may start on the tranny...I enjoy it
wow its must suck... sorry but after having my frame polished on my bike its more hassel then anything i will never go polished again... the polished wheels were a nightmare and you have the bottom of ur car polished...
yes i have tools too but if you want it to come out nice we both know it takes a lot of time and effort to keep it up...
looks nice after its done but a few days of driving around ur back to square one
Damn now I'm going to have to give you my screen name, (and license plates), because I have obvoiusly not fully lived up to my obsessive nature... Or... it is Friday and I have the whole weekend to blow off any and all responsibilites so I can lay under my Vette for 48 hours to clean and polish.
Really, you're obvoiusly a real and proud vette owner... Job well done!!
