Are body panels painted separate?
Just wondering if the body panels are all painted separate when the car is in production or if it is painted all together? If it is painted apart, I wonder how they get the paint to match, as one of the painters that I was talking to about doing a hood for me was talking about the metalic laying a certain way when sprayed, so everything must be blended on metalics.

One of the reasons even a "basic" repaint is so expensive....labor intensive and the Corvette Tax of course.
