well- finally brought my baby home, putting the zaino on it in a few and will post pictures. at idle i notice a slight "rock and roll" as one would on a cammed car. is this normal- or is it a possible electrical system problem (sparkplugs, wires, etc?). on a good note- i got 30.5 mpg on the 200 mile drive from where i picked it up.

loving it!
This is perfectly normal, the Z has a fairly aggresive cam from the factory so you will notice a very slight lope.... Congrats on your purchase, Im sure the car will leave you with a smile on your face every time you drive it
Thats right... a factory legal smog emissions complying lope on an 405HP engine with 400ft lbs of torque that gets 18 mpg city and 29 Hwy...
It turns, it brakes, looks great, its reliable and its made here in America!
These are the good ole days!
