transmission filter
is there such a thing as a transmission filter, because a mechanic at lincoln-mercury said that i needed one to change my transmission oil. if there is where can i find one?

There is a filter,actully a screen but you don't really need to change it, just go to your chevy dealer and have a tranny flush done. The flush will remove most of the old fluid, even from the converter. I did mine at 38,000 miles, after doing it my vette ran MUCH better. Should have done it sooner.
