I have a 2000 vette and recently started having trouble with my turn signals working sometimes and then not. They have gone out completely and my hazards don't work either. Fuses look good. Where is my flasher located to try that replacement first?
Well mine have never quit working all together for good, but I have the same problem and when I want my signals to work I just barely push my hazards button an leave the signal on at the same time for my turn and they stay working, weird huh? This has been going on for some time now, I also own a 2000 Coupe.
this usually means you have to replace the hazard switch. People here have directions on how to do it without removing the whole dash. Seems to be a common issue!
YUP, Hazard switch need to be replaced. Didn't have the nerve to replace it myself. Local dealer did the work and with a lube and oil change, ran me $400.00
I knew what I was in for and the wife wanted it done as she had a cop behind her the other day when they failed and she near pooped herself.
I had the same problem with my 2000 Coupe. Finally, had to have the hazard warning switch replaced by local dealer. The charge was around $210 for parts and labor.

The switch is less then $30 from Fred Beans. Not a bad job to replace.

Before you change the flasher, make sure the bulbs aren't fried. If the lamps are gone, no turn signals/flashers, Could be caused by corrosion in the sockets, too
Just wanted to add that my left turn signal didn't work once, after a few tries of monkeying with it, it started to work. When I had it in the shop I mentioned it, it turns out they replaced the whole turn signal stalk. They said something was fried inside. It was under warranty but would have cost about $400.
10359036 ($29.58) was the part number listed on my bill. I probably would not have went to a dealer to get the job done but I had a 90 day warranty that was still in effect so I figured I'd use it.
