Default Recommendations for Extended Warranties Please

Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a used C5 (00-04 Z51 or Z06).

Having had multiple problems with GM products in the past (00 Camaro SS), I will not ever buy another GM without some sort of extended warranty on it.

That being said, I was wondering if you all can recommend some good extended warranty companies.

Thanks.

Default Extended Warranty Question

I can!! Call me for a GMPP quote, 406-628-4618, Ext 105. Best warranty on the market today and have the best pricing also. Please have your VIN and current miles available or you can also email me at gmpp@fichtnerchevrolet.com if you would like.

You can trust Dennis...he'll get you the best deal. Many of us here have purchased our extended warranty(s) though him...a pleasure to deal with. Enjoy the new ride

Use the Forum's Search function (At the top of the page in the red border) and you'll find a lot of past posts about this with lots of good recommendations.

That search function really comes in handy.

With out a doubt. Call Dennis! I did last week (before the price increase) and he explained it all even tho he was swamped with inquiries and extensions.

He is the best and the price is great too.

I have WarrantyDirect.com and like it.

It was over half the cost of the $4400.00 that GM wanted for less time, same coverage/ $0 deductible.

I've used it twice. The first time, I had to pay 80 bucks of a 800 bill (Had the work done at a stealership, so you know the price was up there to begin with). Didn't feel too bad. Used it again yesterday, and they covered 100% for about 300.00.

From what I know, GMPP does not ALWAYS cover the cost and items as much as their "We're just as good as the original warranty" claim.
Not trying to offend anyone who has the GMPP... just what I know happened to a couple of people.

Also, the rising costs of repairs has translated into rising costs for warranties, so don't wait too long to get yours. I was unaware and the cost almost doubled over one year.

$.02 deposited.

I just purchased one from Warrantee Direct for my AE.

Six years, 60,000 miles, zero deductable = $1,600

Which warranty will give me coverage after I put my (Andy or ECS) blower on? Seriously, will anyone do this?
And how come my "profile picture" doesn't show when I post? Is it cause it doesn't look like other Corvettes, or because I just signed up two days ago?

I can only tell you that WD covers OEM SC's and such, but when I initially spoke to the rep, he told me not to even bother getting the warranty if I was gonna drop in a SC... it would void my engine and tanny coverage.

Second, go to USER CP above and check your options.

Another vote for Warranty Direct. Also, as Dave has intimated, you have to use it. Do not neglect a repair issue hoping that it might go away. It is just amazing how often problematic symptomology and mechanical failure may visit you during the "extended warranty period", after the actual warranty period expires. And, then you are wishing that you had the extended warranty, or, at least used it. Another $.02 deposited in support. Good luck.

I just checked out warranty direct and it is stating that they do not cover Corvette Z06's. What gives with that? Anyone know any different?
