Interior Color Help - still!
First – THANKS to all for the help on my previous post. I how have a link to the specific colors for my Corvette.
However, the information I received so far does not support the dark interior color on a ’03 Anniversary or ’04 Commemorative Edition cars. Where most Corvettes have the black dash, these cars have a light brown dash – darker than the ‘shale’ color indicated in the RPO codes.
Near as I can tell, the shale is 15/149B (C9505) color. This is from the RPO codes on-line and DuPont book, and represents the lighter interior color (seats and some trim items). Nowhere is there a reference to the color of the dash - a darker shale color. Also, the DuPont color flakes are no match either!
Sooo…I am still looking for the RPO or DuPont name or number for this color…Any ideas?

I know that Ken King at V.E. must know the name or the code for that color. All I know is that it is a part of the Shale interior. Try sending Ken an email or calling....you'll find him to be most helpful!

Darker is Neutral, the lighter Shale...Thats how Ken King described it to me when he did my interior...
