Looking for recommendations...Intake systems...
I know, I know. This topic is like BSM's or no BSM's...Which exhaust is best?...Zaino or Meguiars?...etc etc...
But I actually haven't seen this one at all lately: Which intake is best and why? Got the exhaust and X pipe on the way, I've done the whole tire/wheel/ceramic pad/drilled rotor thing, now it's time to plan on getting a good intake system.
Recommendations, anyone? Which one gives the most bang for the buck?
I've been hearing good things about Halltech stingers or Halltech TRAP ( don't know if they are the same). That's most likely what I'm going to get anyway.

Hi Dave,
That CARB thing is for Cali drivers, only, right? It does look like Washington state is going to adopt Cali pollution regs in the next few years... And how do you clean the filter?

Re: CARB- I believe so.
Cleaning:
Remove it.
Lightly brush the big debris off.
You can clean it with a BlackWing Cleaning Kit or...
Use Simple Green. Spray it on. Let it soak for about 15 minutes (have some suds).
Hose it off from the inside out.
Let it dry completely (Have some more suds) Lightly oil, replace it and have some suds!
Fall down.
