oh, the site helped. i had found that link about a minute after posting my thread here. it was the "google.com" reference that prompted my reply. we used to do that at the rsx forum to tell people basically "you're an idiot- search", however that was for very obvious questions.

That's OK, this isn't the RSX forum. If I were doing "that," I wouldn't have posted the link to Z06Vette to begin with.
One other thing that you should know -- it's a paper filter, so be careful with the wet part. You can seal the front of the hood pretty inexpensively with some weatherstripping from Home Depot.
