Hey guys, does anyone know of a link of procedure of how I can change the interior LEDs. I wanna change the bulbs inside the rear view mirror. The dim blub thats always on, on the mirror (dont know what its called). Change the Front under mount bulbs, the rear cabin bulbs in the Coupe.

I want to put in some more high intensity bulbs, cuz its too dark inside when I'm trying to look for something. Also might as well add some color to the bulbs, while I'm at it. Plz let me know if anyone's done it, or knows how to do it.

Thanks in advance....

I tried to take that one apart and do it, but I quickly realized it was sealed into the mirror. I guess when it burns out, you're just supposed to get a new mirror

If you are talking about the orangish light that is on during the night, shining down at the shifter, you can change that. You have to remove the mirror from your car, pry it open with a small flathead screwdriver (try not to mar the plastic), carefully open it up and you will see the LED with a wire running to it. It's as simple as cutting the LED and putting a new one in I think (not sure of the voltage on that LED so that may be a factor). I decided to keep mine stock because i prefer the dimmer orangish light rather than a brighter blue or white.

Hey C!
I tried for like 30 minutes (with an assistant)... tried putting a couple of flatheads in there. Found a couple of tabs, but from what I saw, it was sealed. I'll have to look at it again.

Thanks bro.

Sup Dave!

Well, want to know why I figured out you can change that LED? When I was putting my lights back into the mirror, I inadvertently PULLED OUT one of the wires on the right side of the mirror....thus, I had to take the mirror apart, and re-solder the wires to the mirrors circuit board. Talk about a PAIN in the butt!

Wait a mintue... you gotta solder the wires inside the mirror to change them ? In that case thank you very much, I'll just have to live with my ugly interior lights. Cuz Im not that mechanical. I just wanted to know if I can pop out some bulbs and replace them with higher intensity bulbs. This sounds a lil complicated..
