Default LS6 or LS2 Block?

Between the LS6 and the LS2 block, which block has more performance upgrade potential. I'm trying to deside which one to purchase and do all forged internals. This will be a moderately FI motor. C5R block or Darton Sleeves are not the way I want to go.

LS2 block has a 4.00" bore. Larger than the LS1/LS6. More cubes. It's also got a couple things you need to do to make it work in a C5.. Not bad though..

LS2 Block + 4 inch stroker crank = 402 CI
LS1 Block + 4 inch stroker crank = 382 CI

I would take the LS2 everytime.

Definately LS2. You get more cubes, and you can get a complete forged shortblock, in high or low compression for under $4k.
