Haha, still need somethin with decent gas mileage for the mountain roads up here! Plus, it helps me keep the miles down on the beasts.

Dont even talk to 93Miata he is a joke. He doesn't own a vette. He doesnt need nor want our help. He is pushing HIS OWN WEBSITE. Do a google.com search on his screen name, so far he has 2 mitsu's, 2 hummers, 2 BMW's ect..(in other words 2 of weverything that has keyless entry)
Here is an example of what he is doing.

They're 1/2 that price on ThePartsYouNeed site with the instructions included. I ordered 1 this morning.

I'll keep you guys posted. If it works good, I'm going to order one for my 99 as well..
2nd order came in today. I never had remotes on the 99 so its a nice feature to have them for both cars.

So I guess my posts being deleted, means we can have scammers on the forums? That lie about what they have, & only try to push their website & give nothing to this one?

Great..

It's funny. Most other sites delete his posts for doing this. Yet I warn ya & mine gets deleted. Funny

Commercial posting

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Supporting vendors pay for the considerable bandwidth charges on the Forum, making it free for the rest of us. In exchange, they get the privilege of using the Forum to market and promote their goods and services.

Forum members are welcome to sell a Corvette or Corvette parts they purchased for their own personal use. Anything else is considered to be a commercial sale. No links to eBay sales, please. If the sale is appropriate for the Forum, post it on the Forum, rather than linking to it elsewhere.

Members are not prohibited from mentioning it when they have a good (or bad, for that matter) experience with a non-supporting vendor. But such mentions cannot be so specific (address, phone number, e-mail address, URL, price, part number, etc.) and so frequent that they become marketing and promotional references.

Only supporting vendors can post Group Purchase threads.

Members can include a mention of their personal businesses in their signatures so long as the enterprise does not compete with an existing supporting vendor, is not Corvette-related and is not so detailed or so frequently appended to their posts that it becomes inappropriate marketing and promotion
