I did'nt know either, just happened to be there,what a car. It's a good thing I have to go back and pick up mine so I can drool again.

Good morning all. I took my 99 in for some work this morning at Hudiburg chevy here in Midwest city Okla,walked into the show room and there it was a new black Z06.What a car it took me a half hour to get around it.Sold signs all over it along with DON'T TOUCH.They would'nt tell how much it went for.

There's a C6 Z06 craze going on right now. Most dealers are asking 5-10K OVER sticker and apparantly getting it. PT Barnum said it best and stealerships take advantage.

Doubt that any local dealer will get a Z06 in. Just don't do that much in Vette sales.

I saw a red C6 Z06 a couple days ago with the wrapper still on most of it in the back of a stealership - I was test driving a HHR 
for a winter beater... since I pulled up in my monster, he wanted to show me theirs
it was pretty sweet, I think C6 owners are going to be pissed... us C5 guys didn't care cause they all looked the same

dealers are getting $10,000 to $20,000 over sticker.i looked at 1.dealer was willing to buy my 03' zo6 for a nice price,but when he told me $85,000 for the new car,i laughed and walked away.checked a couple of dealers for ha-ha's.all are getting $20,000 over.the car just isn't all that.

I've seen two new Z06's and both had factory sticker prices of $69,000+. I also had the opportunity to ride in one of them. While it was fast, I think I'm going to keep my C5 and do a few more minor engine mods.

I know that I will never be able to buy one brand new, but when I grow up...33 now, I hope to be able to afford, probably after my 10 month old is through college!
