I've read nothing but glowing reviews on the new Michelin PS2's. Several guys in my club have them and love the ride, handling, and low noise levels. I'm curious if any of you have had them long enough to tell how well they will wear? Several reviews I've read on the Tire rack website mention poor mileage, especially on the rears. Anyone?
Any tire you put on the rear of a vette will have a short tread life! I'm on my 3rd set of rear PS2 tires and still on my first set of front tires. I do drive hard occasionally,(canyon runs) however I do not do tire burn-outs, drag race, or drift. Also I have my alignment checked twice a year. I get a very even wear on my tires but only get about 12kmiles out of them (to the wear bars). I run 30psi cold tire pressure all the way around. PS2's in my opinion, are the best street legal, all around tire you can buy. (Definately not the cheapest tire!)

I agree that the rears wear out so much faster than the front ones. I've worn out two sets of rears so far. The Michelins are good tires, just a little more expensive than other options out there.

I drive and maintain my car in an identical manner. I would love to have the handling, ride and low noise of the PS2's, but 12,000 miles is really a fairly poor showing for a $700 pair of tires! Thanks so much for your
help!
