I just don't "get" these things - what's the purpose ?? If you ever want to put the top down you can't have anything in the trunk - so all you have is a trunk you keep empty so can store your top - COOL.
In my vert I get 2 sets of golf clubs two "saddle bags", one soft overnight bag and a weeks clothing for two lying on top of the clubs and I can put my top down any time I want to enjoy what a converible was made for - all for 10 grand less than this.
What's the point ?? If you want a hard top, that's cool, but if I'm buying a vert I want it to vert whenever I feel like it and if I've got a trunk I want it to put "stuff" in it - not my top.

who needs two anyways. 
plus it's all power so it's a touch of a button to drop the top which I like and miss.

I've gotta be honest, I like this. This is just like the Mercedes SLK230... It's a corvette, anything fun like that that you can do to it, I'd say why not. If you've got the money to afford the Z06 you should be allowed to have all the fun you want!

And, the unit to make this auto top work takes a heck of a lot of trunk space - so even with the top up you lose a lot of that space
when they did the demo on Friday it seized up - took them the rest of the night to fix (necessary since the LSCC meet went on Sat and Sun.
Not worth it IMO.

If Chevy can make that top for the SSR, a vehicle that nobody wants, why couldn't they come up with a similar package for the Vette? I like the folding hardtop idea.
