Car Cover = scratches :(
I recently purchased a Stormproof car cover. I cleaned the car very carefully and put the cover on with the same level of care. 1 week later which included 3 days of rain, I took it off to discover a filmy residue all over the car along the stiching lines. That came off. However along the rear fascia under the tail lights, there are series of vertical scratches that wernt there before the cover touched the car.
Is there any kind of a covering like a cotton sheet I should put on the car before covering it?

Hmm thats odd the car was entirely wet under the cover and it was very snug all the way around the car. Only the very bottoms of the tires were showing. It definitely was not water proof. Did they send me the wrong cover? I am missing the brush I was supposed to get hrm.
