Default WHAT was this all about?

I have been driving the daylights out of my Z lately, yes, all this week in the rain, driven daily.

I posted once about getting in the car, firing it then it stalled and on the DIC it said pull key, wait 10 secs(I am waiting to get CLB and CAGS installed) it fired after that, then stalled. After about 40 seconds, everything was fine. That problem hasn't shown back up.

Today, I was coming home from work, fooled around with the T/C OFF and had the defroster on(only way to keep the windows from constantly fogging) came to a light and the idle was probably 4-500 rpm where it's usually MUCH higher. I revved the motor a little, went back to the same place. Switched off the de-froster, bingo...right back to normal.

LOL I can't seem to get away from owning cars with problems, big or little....and this car was BEYOND pampered by it's previous owner. I don't get it!

Has anyone else had this problem or would like to take a guess what it might be?

It's seen 6500 rpm quite a few times lately! Pulls like stink.

Definitely odd...I'll have to check mine out with my defroster on, hopefully I don't have similar results.

If it was "BEYOND pampered by it's previous owner" I would guess that its gumed up a little.
I would suggest you clean the throttle plate and do an idle re-learn to cure your problem.
