Just FYI the 9005 high beam bulb was not designed as a low beam bulb more than likely you will burn it out very quickly.
The reflector design is what controls the beam pattern not the bulb.

I checked into this before the mod. These bulbs are considered "standard" wattage and have the same life expectancy as low beams. They only draw 10 watts more than the low beams yet put out 1700 lumens compared to 1000 for the low.
