DFW Muffler Shops?? - Need HELP
Looking for a muffler shop in the Dallas area that will swap exhaust systems between two C5's? I want to take one exhaust system off of Car A and put it on Car B. Then take exhaust system off of Car B and put it Car A.
Doesn't sound like a monumental challenge, but have already tried two places in town (recognized names) and they would not do it.
Problem is, they say they can't do it. The snag is, the entire muffler system, from the headers back (including cats) needs to to swapped. The systems are identical, but they say they can't swap the cats from one car to another and vice versa.... The cars are virtually identical.
Surely this is a minor glitch that can be overcome..... but need some help from anyone in the area that will do that. And/or someone that has a lift I can use for a couple of hours and DIY it.
Just not enough room on Rhino ramps to comfortably work underneath.... Has anyone done this on just Rhino Ramps???
