cargo net/divider
This guy pulls out from a side street today and I jammed my brakes on. Next my soft shell briefcase comes flying from the rear and right between the seats onto my right hand.
It did turn out to be my lucky day. 300 ft up the road was a cop standing outside his car with radar.
My question is does the cargo net really work? Anyone figure out any other ways to keep the cargo in the rear?

If you install the cargo net , the way it was designed....you can put anything INTO IT... like a lap top, and any forward inertia will cause the bottom of the cargo net to fly forward ( The bottom of the net fully sealed ) the net is designed to hinge at the top allowing the bottom to contain any object inside.... this is just another Engineering safety design....

With the cargo net properly installed (as ET has so graciously displayed with detailed pics), I have found that even after placing everything from groceries, clothing, small luggage to heavy sporting gear inside the cargo net, all items have been retained and supported without issues, or, incident. Great feature item for the cargo bay.
