They work great for the standard sized water bottles.

I ordered the partition and received it, thanks! Good quality, great product!
However, in my z06, it falls out pretty frequently.. are there any tips to keep it in place (other than buying the vette tray )
Thanks!

You want to put the top part in first, push in the corners good an tight and then slide the bottom back until the partition is perfectly vertical and tight. Then use the velcro straps to fasten the top in place into the trunk. The straps to not have to be super tight, just enough to keep the top in place.
You by chance, do not have it on top of a cargo mat do you?
Give me a call if you still are having problems...
Thanks,
Jim

exactly
I have this very exact setup...the velcro strips dont stay on so my partition sits forward 3 inches at least and no matter what I do. I dont know what to do cuz the heat causes the glue to melt right off. Other than that issue the product is awesome...Looks great.

On very hot days the Velcro adhesive can let go and the partition will fall forward a few inches. I plan on using a small sheet metal screw to keep the "loop" patch in place. Other than that the SCP partition fits better and is much lighter than the original one I had...

Would these be worthy/strong enough/big enough of putting 2 8" or 10" holes in (for some subs), and mounting an amp on the tray?? (I'm going to take my time on this, and do it right...)
Even if you can't do it, I'm sure I can cut the holes in the carpet (its probably adhered with a contact 40 or contact 50 spray adhesive) I.E. cutting a small 1" hole, then shearing back to the 5" radius and cutting that circle out of the carpet. Following with drilling a 2.5" hole with a drill and a doorknob attachment, I could put it up on the jigsaw, and cut the circle. Then you just drop in the subs and screw them down, the flange on most commercial subwoofers would fit in nice, and if needed, you could always install a grille over them. I'd like to think that an amp+accessories should fit nicely on that tray as well.
I can work up some drawings/models on CAD/3DSMAX for you... if you'd like to offer to fab them for me... also, any advice where to get the GM Corvette flags embroidered on?
(customs customs customs... heh)
I do have some questions however;
1- could you see it becoming a fire hazard? (hot amp + foam?)
2- would running the wires to/from the amp be a challenge with that foam tray? is it easy enough to poke a hole in?
3- How much weight could the partition hold?? (The weight of the subs would put a reverse rotation on the part, and from what I understand, holding it "back" to the "back" is the challenge... and the subs would only aid in that unless I slammed on the brakes... but also, the rotation would "squish" the foam at the bottom, is it rigid enough to withstand the ~30 lbs spread over the ~4.5' width?
Anyways, if I can get this to work, and any other guys who'd like to do the same, I'll do my best to keep in touch... Jim, I also forwarded the majority of this as a PM to you.
