Does anyone see anthing wrong with this statement, or don't I know Vette History?
Chevy Corvette
The Chevrolet Corvette is one of the great icons of American history. The later models can reach speeds of up to 170 MPH and cost up to $70,000. This car went into production in 1951 and has been going strong ever since.
I believe wreckedexotics.com is updated by a couple of guys who are not necessary Corvette enthusiasts. It is a pretty good site to check out busted up exotic/sports cars....hehe.
BTW, here is one of my favorites. Look at the distruction and mayhem involved

The latest updates on WreckedExotics show a Yellow C6, but they labeled it as Z06. The hood does not look like a Z06 hood.
Then later on page 2 they showed a C5 on its roof (from Hurricane Katrina). They labeled it as an 03, but it has 1999 rims on it. It 'could' be an 03 and people 'could' oput 1999 rims on an 03, but i'm thinking not. I thought the exhausts looked a little different after 1999, but i'm not sure about that.

The Black C5 on it's roof does look like a 97-99 Vette with a rather bad aftermarket exhaust. I would also venture to say that it's a 100% total loss, maybe the but ugly wheels are salvageable.
