On my 99 frc the Headlights dim slightly, but noticably, for a split second when the I roll the windows up. It happens from when the window is fully closed until I lift my finger off the switch. Is this normal? I have a new Optima battery and have no other electrical problems whatsoever.
thanks
Dave
This is probably normal on most cars, not just Vettes. That moment when the window stops and the button is still held puts a lot of load on the entire system.
Mines does this as well, but I thought i read somewhere that when you swap out battery with a Red Top it doesn't do it anymore? anyone know if that's true?
at least its not like my mustang, if you held all 4 window buttons up, hit the brakes, had to headlights on, and moved the power window mirror, you would kill the car.

not really.. does it less..mine dims every day, while lights are on, approximately 5 minutes after I leave home, almost in the same spot. Can set yoyur watch to it..only does it one time.. used to do it a lot with the GM battery( turn signals, windows etc..)

Not true. I heard this and went out and bought a Red Top. Lights still dim when you hit the windows.
