Anyone else have this problem? Because of this, the mirror light stays on when I pull the visor down. What type of glue or such will fix this, or does it somehow "punch" back in?
The same thing happened to mine (2002 Coupe). I put a very small amount of Gorilla Glue on it and put an elastic band around the visor overnight. If I dropped the car off a cliff, the only thing that would stay intact is the mirror. Gorilla Glue in incredible; just be careful how and where you use it.
Living in a town where it's 100 plus degrees most of the year it works "wonders" in warping the visor plastic covers through the glass top causing the lights to constantly stay on. Reason, the cover pin and on/off switch don't come in contact.Cheap solution,if the cover still stays in the closed position without flapping around, the cover lid has a very small pin looking thing that presses the light switch to turn the light off. Super glue a small piece of plasic to the cover on the pin. thus widening the area that presses down on the switch.Did this on mine over 2 years ago and so far so good.

Good luck..
Where do you get the Gorilla glue? I checked at O'Reilly's and didn't see it (I've never even heard of it)?
Also, I thought they were glued in the first place? How are the bulbs to be changed if it was glued? I saw little "nipples" that seem to slide into "grooves" in the mirror.
I had the same problem on my 2002; fortunately, I was under warranty at the time and they replaced the visor each time (both sides came off). I have GMPP majorguard, so we'll see what happens the next time - and I'm sure there will be a next time!
