Best bet is the F/S section.

Do a search if the first page doesn't have some - they have been f/s, and some may not have sold.

Those are pretty fancy by WALLstAL. Look good!!

I used a hockey puck, drilled a hole in it to tightly accept a 3/8" eye bolt that has a 1" eye on it. The bolt is cut to get the right length ....... works like a charm!!!!! Keep in mind, the eye bolt doesn't take any load, it just has to support the puck until the hoist arm or jack reaches it.

So this page shows creating a double-height puck. Whyfor?? If the jack pad is flat won't a single height puck work?

And if your car is lowered (like mine) it seems it would be pretty difficult to get a jack under the pair of pucks.

I also read somewhere that you can use a practice hockey puck (orange color??) as they are made of a harder material than regulation pucks.

All true points c4cruiser... You can certainly make them outta one puck, an orange puck, and lots of other stuff. My car is pretty low too and so I have done the one-puck shuffle. Now I usually just put the jack stands under the front/rear cross-members and call it a day though.

(disclaimer... The 97vette.com page is not mine, but owned by a fellow vette fanatic. THANKS PAT!!!)

i made my own using regular hockey pucks and #6 eye screws from home depot.
$2 ea for the pucks and $2 for 4 eye screws
$10 total
use a 3/16 drill in the center of the puck and screw them in until they fit so you can lock them with a 1/4 turn.
then grind or file off about 1/8" that sticks thru.
e-z and cheap.

I have these BMW pucks and so far they are great - 1 year. They haven't fallen off and you can't see them on the car.

If your going to do any work on the diff, trans, or clutch putting the jack stands on the crossmembers ain't going to work.

I have searched the BavAuto.com site and cannot find them. The other link you posted does not produce a link. What is the official name of the product you have on the BavAuto site?

Do a product search for jack support. Put in 1996 model year then 318i. You will see them then.
