Most of us have been there... done that, so we know where you're comin' from. I had mine out of commission for a month last year... remember? And that !@$# service writer stuck me in a Geo Prism the 1st week ... (2nd and 3rd weeks were different after I almost bit his head off)

Just give her a nice 10 hr. detail day when you get her back... Maybe we can all get together at my pad and have a nice detail day... right before the rain comes in Then we'll go around the corner to Hooters for wings

Im really sorry I couldnt make it last weekend. Without my car, I feel like half a man. How horribly "Los Angeles" IS THAT!?

Im also coming up on almost a month without my car....at this point I feel like I dont even really have my dream car anymore. Like it was all a great dream I once had. Not that I define my existence by the car I drive, But it sure did bring a smile to my face every time I walked up to it and got to drive it.

Thank almighty Buddha that I wasnt stuck in a Geo Metro in the mean time...oh wait I was for a while,...thats what my GF owns. AAAHHH!!!!

I am gonna detail the HECK out of my car when I get it back....if that ever happens. I know eventually it will happen in theory...its just that I have had to trick myself into thinking that I never got used to driving my dream car...so that I dont mind driving the rental cars Im stuck in now. Its kinda fun to drive around the freeways in a 4 by 4 for a while....but Im looking forward to my low rocket again soon.

I sure would love to come over and get some detailing lessons from you at the first available opportunity. Im gonna clean my car like its the first time I ever saw it. Give me a ring and lets plan on this...I wont have my car back Monday for sure (Im guessing)...maybe by a week from then if things keep going the way they have been going.

Hey, thanks Dave and Fred!

Guess what? I actually got the car back today!! I TOTALLY wasnt expecting to have it for the weekend. Im gonna drive that sucker all over the universe the next two days!!

And she's pulling super strong now on the low end! Maybe there really WAS a problem with them gears for a while. She peels out like a crazy monster again! That hasnt really happened for a while!

Im gonna get in so much trouble! HAHA!

Oh and Riley called today and mentioned Detail Day tomorrow. IM SO IN! Julie is sick so wont be able to come play with me in the car, so its perfect timing for a Corvette function. Nice! I'll pop over to the Pacific section for the details, times and directions.
