What you want is generically called a battery float charger.
Harbor Freight has them on sale for under $10. I have two ,bought my brother 2. All 4 work great!

I got one but do a search online and don't pay "Corvette Tax" I saved $15 by using Bizrate or Nextag...

Kidding!!I have one of these and it works great... It monitors the charge and I have no problems... but mine's not quite TWO years old... I'm living on borrowed time?
