It seems as if I haven't seen a nice day in quite a while. I really enjoy taking my Z06 out but it's not really much fun in the rain.
About 3 weeks ago it started raining, it rained for 9 days straight. I was away overseas on business for a week and when I got back, last Friday, things hadn't changed.
It's Sunday and the rain continues to fall. The Corvette's still covered in the garage and it's about 45 degrees outside. I was going to wax it again but I already did that. Maybe I need to change the oil, nope, did that too.
Has anybody noticed anyone named Noah selling tickets or anything? Maybe I should sell the Vette and get a boat.
I feel your pain...
BTW..boating ain't much fun these days either..
Just Fri we took our last cruise and stayed on the boat overnight @ lake George..brrr..got down to 36o Friday night
Currently living in South Florida, and we go through some really rainy periods also....soon to be moving North again, then the baby will have to sit all winter.
We definitely feel the same way up here in Maine... just crappy weather, I just took an afternoon nap... not much of anything better to do. I just rented a huge garage for my business, the Corvette will find its' way there for a good wash, Zaino, & storage cover. It'll officially see the end of its' year the first week of November... maybe one more good ride day ??... predictably depressing !
Sort of happy that I am moving back to the Southeast (Charleston, South Carolina), where the winters aren't really an issue, but I can truly feel everyone's pain on the rainy issues.
It was sunny and near 60 today in York. I had to take it out for a cruise. It almost did not start from sitting so long as this was the first day of no rain in a long time
To make matters worse for me they ground off 3" of asphalt on my road 10 days ago and have yet to re-pave! There have been a couple of days it hasn't rained, but thre is no way I can get out of my driveway. Supposedly they pave tomorrow. Not bad for a two day town job.
