Spray them with Mid America interior dye.Super easy.

My pewter speaker grills started to rust from condensation. I just removed the speaker grills and spray painted them gloss black. The spray paint was from a local hardware store.

I got my Torch Red spray paint at Walmart for $3.33 a can only took 2 cans to do my grills, course they were small cans, but the Speaker grills came out awesome.
