Needs a 'chin guard' to prevent scrape
I need a rub strip or something for the front bumper cover. My drive way is too step and sometimes it wants to scrape the chin and the lower spoiler on the way in and out. It is a horrible sound and it left a mark! Has anyone had this problem? Is there a product out there or something that could be fabbed to act as a 'chin guard'? My car is stock ride height too. I would like to lower it but no way at this point.
I guess I could just tear out the driveway and re-pour it with less angle. But all my neighbors have the same lousy high entrance angle. Thanks for any ideas. Tom

Try going out on an angle if you have room.
Otherwise, looks like some concrete work

I have a three car driveway with a steep curb. If I back down it scrapes if I turn around and drive down it does not.

The Frame Saver / Rocker Rail combo from
A & A Corvette works great for that problem!
IMHO, it's a must have for lowered vettes!

Sharp angles are your friends here. I just about go in and out sideways to prevent scraping.

If there is a person that owns a C5 that has never heard that scraping sound, they aren't driving their Vette enough. Everybody has had this problem one time or another. I also bought the A & A pieces, now I just need time to put them on.

and put tham on
I was leaving an office complex, and my car actually hung up on the HUMP between the road and the building. My back tires actaually lost traction pushing the car over.
A&A frame savers did their job that day, and paid for themselves
