New PIAA Replacement Lamps
I just installed the PIAA 9006 & 9005 replacement lamps. First of all - access to change the bulbs is a major P.I.T.A.! 
I don't think my ham-hock forearms will ever grow all the skin back. I actually wound up removing the painted lids to the headlights, just so that I could at least see the back of the lamps. There has got to be an easier way...... This was one of those project that made me think - "Why did I start this?" My best advice is when you undertake this - make sure you get the socket seated properly and locked in.
The new lamps are a big improvement over the stock, much whiter, they seem brighter and they are street legal. The beam pattern appears to be totally different. Plus they don't have that blueish cast that looks rice to me.

While I had the lids off, I took the opportunity to lube the pivot points which took out the little squeak I was getting.
