Unfortunately it isn't always kids... Mine has been vandalized 3 times at work - and the police station is right next to our office. Mine is the only car that has been vandalized so security thinks it's personal - someone doesn't like me, or my car.. Now I get to buy a new mirror.

I was a police officer for 35 years and was never able to quite understand why kids do things like that. I guess the best explaination is stupidity and lack of respect for other people's property. Maybe, just maybe, the little @sshole will have one of his prized possessions damaged some day.

Not exactly CSI, but in a case like that, you might take the emblem to the police in case there were prints left by some juvie with a record?
