I say yes, you are just going to have that DIC reminder pop up every time you get in the car and no, it will not affect handling, or any of that stuff.

You will need to push the reset button each time.

The wheels will work without the sensor. I have to ask, why wouldn't you want the sensors? The piece of mind is well worth it, especially with non-runflat's. Wouldn't you want to be warned ahead of time of a possible problem at speed? You don't list what year your car is (drives us all crazy b.t.w.) so we can't answer your upcoming question as to weather or not it can be disabled. You will have to press the reset each time you start the car to clear the warning.

But, I too would recommend using the sensors. Sure is nice to know if your tire is losing air.

My tire/wheel guy couldn't make my '99 sensors fit the GM Z06 wheels because they are not spot-faced on the back of the valve stem hole. The radiused mounting surface prevented a good O-ring seal.
