Low Oil Level message

Low Oil Level message
Just got my 2000 a4 and i decided to change the oil so i could date it and start my own log on it...
everything was cool, typical oil change and drove it to work today and the message center said " low oil level" so i freaked out, pulled over and checked the oil... its perfect!..... what the heck?
do i need to reset anything? just curious, it annoys me looking at it..

just reset it and see if it comes back....I had mine come on once..no idea why

oops, looks like i posted this in the wrong forum...
its not doing it anymore... haha... took it for a short ride and its gone after hitting the Reset button on the dash again... huh...
