Default Did You Know..........

Did you know there is a drain hole in the top rear corners of the trunk opening?
OKAY, did you also know that C5 lug nuts will fit right down them?
Don't ask me how I know!

Guess it wasn't meant to be the parts tray I imagined!

If you remove the rear inner fender on that side you should be able to remove it no problem.

Actually, if you roll a few feet and stab the brake pedal and repeat a couple times they come right out. Probaly information most C5 forum members don't need.

Things like this only happen when your in a hurry to bolt on the drag radials and hit the 1/4 mi. track after a tough week! Go figure.

Especially when you get your big fat paw stuck in the ever so freaking tiny "between the headlamp mousehole of a space" (Geesuz Chrysse), just so that you can change the fog lamp bulbs right after an early breakfast on a beautiful Saturday morning, in anticipation of an enjoyable scenic drive in the C5. Then, lo and behold, your curious neighbors notice that your azz is still stuck to the car when night-time rolls around, and, they seem to have heard you swearing (several hearty WTF's and a lengthy list of turgid expletives) in every known language, recorded and otherwise, the whole friggin day! Frankly, I am pissing myself off again just remebering the whole dang ordeal!

Man - I'm glad I posted this thread - a couple lug nuts dropped down a hole doesn't seem that bad now! Thanks for sharing - and BTW, sorry about your misfortune.
