Is there any particular reason no more people run the KD or the KDWs than ya'll do? I was looking at getting a set soon and wanted to make sure I wasnt making a mistake. If not them, Ill put the SCs on it.

Thanks
Rudy

I used KD's on my last car, they were good, but they didn't live up to the hype. I think they are good tires, but a little overpriced when compared to other options.

KD's are the ultimate in dry traction unless you are consider R-compound tires. The tread blocks on the outside are huge. Call Luke at Tire Rack if you want more information.

KDW's are more of an all season version of KD.

It kind of depends on what you want in a tire. Quiet? Long wearing? Good in snow?

I liked mine. A little noisy on some surfaces. They were good in rain until they hit the wear bars. I drove them to the track and usually won timetrials events competing against guys on other brands. Don't even think of driving them in the snow.
