They are supposed to slip right into the slots in the frame.... so banging should be required. If you have the right pucks and the right location it is easy to push them into place and then twist 90 degrees to lock in place. Should be easily done with the car on the ground
I bought my hockey pucks from Play It Again Sports for a buck and a half each. I got the heavier orange ones. Then stopped by Lowes for 1/4" eye bolts at about 33 cents each. Drill a hole in the center, screw in the eye bolts, and they fit right in the slots. Twist 'em about 90 degrees and they stay while you place the jack.
Will these home-made pucks support the cars weight over a 6 month winter storage? My jack-stands are certainly sturdy enough but I didnt know if the pucks themselves would stand up to this.

I think the hockey pucks will be just fine for the winter. I'm looking into buying either the Elite Engineering or bmw jackpucks. You can leave the bmw pucks in, so I'm leaning towards those.
They Seem To Fit But Only If I Bang Them In Lightly,,,there Are 2 Prongs That Will Catch In The Hole After I Push Them In Hard Or Tap Them In With A Mallet,,,these Are The Only 2 Holes I See On One Side Of The Car,,,i Can Maybe Get 2-3 Finger Into The Hole The Pucks Will Hold Once I Get Them Into The Hole I Just Dont Want To Damage The Car Holes/pucks,,

There are two slots on either side of the car. You just slip the pucks into the slots with the prongs facing front to rear and slide them back. Turn them 90deg and they're in. Shouldn't even be a tight fit.
man, I tried today with more time and I finally got them snapped into place but let me tell you all, it was not as easy as I thought it would be,,seems simple but I bought the bmw pucks and you have to play with them a bit until they snap into the hole,,but when they do snap in they pop in nice and firm...thanks for the info and support, you just want to make sure you re not going to break anything,, so it doesn t hurt to ask...so the bmw ones fit nice in case anyone is thinking about buying them,,they also are a very hard plastic so 2 pucks are not needed..
