Default Widebody C5s.

Hey all,

I've done a fair amount of searching on the site and haven't really found a good thread with all the different kits posted. And some of them were a little incomplete, so I was hoping we could get a new thread started up with some updated pics.

So if anyone has a pic of their car with a widebody kit on it, please post it up. I've been interested in the ACP widebody for a while now, but the pictures of the black car they have just doesn't seem to do it justice...and also hides some of the lines, so I can't really tell how much I like the actual kit.

Carvaggio, Spectre Works, etc...if you have pics, please post 'em here. (You guys will also be helping me out a ton - and hopefully others - since I'm on dial-up and it takes me all night to get some of these other websites looking for pictures, haha).

Also, are the Lingenfelter C5 kits absolutely impossible to find? I understand they don't make it anymore, but I was wondering if there are any floating around out there...

Here's a pic I took of Kerry Hitt's (of ACP) white vette at Bowling Green a while back.
I really like this wide body kit!

The LPE widebody was 20k that might be why you dont see them much and they dont do it anymore.

Gemarn maker does a widebody that is killer. Sure someone will post pictures.

That white widebody is pretty slick looking!

20k for the Lingenfelter package...wow. Looks nice, but I can see how alot of people might have passed on that, haha.

Definitely interested in the German maker's kit.

I'm picking up a used C5 in a couple months once my Lightning sells, so I can't wait to join this forum as an owner. The deals available for a modified car right now are just amazing. I love the clean lines of the C5, but there's quite a few in my town, which is why I plan on adding some uniqueness visually to the car. And widebody kits with fatter tires usually look sexy as hell...and the looks will definitely be backed up on the track.

Keep 'em coming, guys! Thanks a bunch!

I believe these Bad Boyz are the ones XCELER8 is referring to.
They're my favorites of the "widebody" genre. Here's a link to some pics...

Wow. Very cool looking. The black one on that site just looks sinister.

The Carvaggios are sexy, too. Kinda curious as to what effects that side "scoop/slit" have at speed as far as drag on the vehicle.

Very nice, tlaselva. That car is great looking.

Snowmobile looks nice... I've never been a huge fan of the exposed headlights, but if I cover that part...the rest of the car is beautiful to me.

Carvaggio is coming up with a new kit soon as well, isn't he? I thought I read an old thread where he mentioned that...

That car is 6" wider than stock in the rear. It's more than just rockers & a front lip spoiler.

And in my opinion, looks way nicer than what's in your sig.

I'm still building custom flares on my C5 . . . hope to be done by the end of November now. We just had a baby girl 2-1/2 weeks ago. She came a tad early and really slowed down my progress. But she's a KEEPER!

Pics will be posted after I'm done.

Very nice, MS!

I've got some ideas of my own that are close to yours, but with several differences... That's the great thing about custom cars, haha. We all look and see something different.

Congrats on getting that beauty done.

Thanks for all the posts, gentlemen.
