Upgrading the Bose system.
I know that if you try to install an aftermarket stereo system in a Grand Prix with the Bose system you run into problems.
Is this true in Corvettes too?

I switched out my entire system as well....sounds sooooooooo much better.. if you need help or any specific questions, go to the audio section of this forum, the guys there are great. Helped me a lot

I have a DVD/CD/MP3/XM/FM/AM headunit by Sony with a 6.5" Sony LCD monitor mounted in the headliner of my Z (no removeable roof panel.
) All speakers are Phoenix Gold as well as the amps. Wiring is all Stinger. The issue with replacing the Bose system is that you can't get a wire harness to plug into it. You can tap into the ground and hot power wires from the harness, but you need to splice into a switched power wire. I didn't bother with the RAP. Too much for me to figure out at 6:00pm on a Sunday when I was installing the system.
