Being completely honest, I ordered my 99 FRC because of the lower price and the fact that you got an MN6 and Z51 standard. A little less weight and more body rigidity were cool too. But at the time, I really liked the coupe better. As time went on though, I've began to feel that I made the best choice with the FRC. Love the aggressive stance and the fact that the 99/00 frc's are the rarest of the C5's.
Some of you guys give corvette a bad name, but then again a lot give it a good name.
.... Wouldnt you think if everyone did a search before posting and they found there answer this forum would die .... Because the question has already been answered .... There would be no more questions!!
Future corvette owner hopefully i don't end up waving to people like Cajun
Originally I wanted a hatchback but I found an awesome deal on an FRC so I went for it. Now I couldn't be happier, the FRC looks like it means business, no offense to anyone but the hatchback just doesn't look as mean.
Well this post might be a little off topic from the thread, but since a few people want to be politically correct. Both Coupe and Hatchback can be used to describe the Corvette Coupe or Hatchback hatch·back (hchbk)
n.
An automobile having a sloping back with a hinged rear door that opens upward.
coupe - a car with two doors and front seats and a luggage compartment
So the Corvette is a Coupe and a Hatchback, so is the Z06 can also be described as a coupe as well as the Corvette convertible but not a hatchback. Technically calling the Corvette Coupe as a Hatchback is IMHO is the right way to differentiate it from the Z06 and the Convertible. But in essence they are all Coupes.
