Shifter detent bolt thread size?

HI!

Yup, I did it. I managed to strip the shifter detent bolt. This is the bolt with the sping loaded ball bearing on the upper pass. side of the tranny. There is a thread on the forum on how you can take it out, put a washer on it and your C5 will shift smoother. Well, I tried it and mangled the bolt. Praying that the tranny is ok.

My question is:
Does anyone know the size and thread pattern of that bolt? I beleive it is 3/4" with a 1.75 thread pattern and 3/4" long???? HELP!!

This probably won't help, and I'm not sure if I would pay the money, but you could do a search for the antivenom shift mod on the Z06vette forum. I think his modded bolts are going for $60.
