Default Anyone with catback and header system??

Hey everyone, my car is still in the hospital getting major operation performed (ring job)…I have a complete header system sitting here…car already has a borla catback exhaust…I can’t wait to hear how the car will sound…anyone have any video clips of a c5 with a catback exhaust and headers/x-pipe and hi-flo cats??? And a quick question…I ordered the kooks header system with the 02 extensions…do I have to take out the o2 sensors from the old pipes??? any tips on how to do that without damaging anything??

Thanks guys,
Bicky Dhadwal

I have LG headers, hi flow cats, x-pipe all hooked up to Corsa PaceCar exhasut!

The sound is awesome, the power increase in the car with a good tune and a 160 thermostat went from 334 RWHP to 359 RWHP and the Tq from 339 to 374

I also used all 4 O2 sensors with extension cables for the fronts.

You should take the O2 sensors out of the old pipes and use them in the new setup. I did.
The extension cables will allow the front sensors to reach down to go into the Kooks headers. I did mine by installing the hi flow cats THEN the X-pipe. The rear sensors in mine are in the X-pipe. This way you end up with the front sensors ahead of the cats and the rears sensors aft of the cats. They way they are designed to be...

Good luck and I'm sure you'll like it. You will probably be even louder than mine with your Borlas

Not the greatest, but this is mine Click =====> HERE

I've got clips of my car on a dyno with LG no cats, and 2 tip Stingers. I don't have them hosted, but could e-mail 'em to ya. It freakin' howls.

I posted this a day or so ago, but here are LT headers, highflo cats, xpipe and quad stingers in just a simple rev to 3700rpm. Headers open the sound up and make it more wholesome at idle and nasty as the rpms go...

I had LGM longtubes, high flow cats, X pipe and Borla Stingers. Very loud and cool sounding. Resonance was deafening. Had to remove Stingers and now run with Ti's. All is well.
Good Luck with your installation.

I tried to e-mail you the clip, but my service won't allow files larger than 10MB, and it's over 30. Sorry.

Default Headers

Sometimes the 02 sensors are a bit difficult to get out. If they are, carefully heat the bung and they will come right out.

LG Longtubes, hi-flow cats, Magnaflow X-pipe into dual-tip Borla Stingers.

Don't have a clip but people weave from fright when I'm going through tunnels.
